RIPE: HYPER/LUX/SHINE/THEORY

From critical discourse to sidewalk talk, language is both abundant and tender.

Damp and sticky, language permeates ideas and thus behavior. In this way, conversations are a hothouse for interpersonal exchanges.

RIPE hyper/lux/shine/theory steps into the alluring and disorienting framework of "basic" dialogue. Featuring captured quotes from daily life, this work directly looks at how words can fester or be harbored in dark places.
